Acoustic grand piano

Note: Please download the latest version of this soundfont from the FreePats web site. This page is not maintained anymore and all links below are from an old version that will be deleted.

A free soundfont resembling a Yamaha Disklavier Pro piano.

This is a work in progress. Listen to the example music below to get an idea of what you can expect from it.

The older version of the soundfont was based on the University of Iowa Musical Instrument Samples. It is still available for download, but I will continue the development with the new soundfont instead.

If you have comments, suggestions, or want to help to improve the quality, please send your messages to the freepats mailing list. Your help is appreciated.

Those music files were produced using source midi files from Virtual Sheet Music. Fabrizio Ferrari, from Virtual Sheet Music, kindly gave me permission to use them.
